P.S. 68 Reviews

This school is not that good. There are some people who are rude and curse a lot.But there are some nice teachers though. And good kids.Sometimes.

While there are less challenges at this school as opposed to other area public schools in regards to violence, there is still a lot of work to be done! I am a parent who has enrolled her daughter here for the first year and is deciding if I will send my daughter back to this school. Most of the staff are very rude, demeaning, and unfriendly! I made an attempt to introduce myself to the principal only to be treated discourteously meanwhile, my daughter is an honor roll student and we pride ourselves on taking an active roll with the school (pta, meetings, fundraising). Also, many of the teachers are not receptive to parents who know how to advocate for their child and want high quality education. all in all, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done!

I Graduated for P.S.68 a few years ago and this year I will be graduating from Richard R. Green Middle School. When graduated from 68 I was so happy but now I miss it. the school was extremly safe and the teachers and overall staff was wonder. We had a wonderful principal and asst. principal. They both really cared about the students that attend the school. They had numerous after school activites such as chess club and chorus. You did not have to worry security guards breathing down your back. It was a very relaxed, secure, healthy and educational enviroment. It is the best kept secret in the bronx because not many people know about the school.

I think think P.S.68's teaching staff is one of the best in the Bronx. The teaching staff has alot more dedication than I have seen in some time. Mrs. Coles is a very good principle and we as parents are lucky to have her.
