“My son has attended this school for the last 3 years. My son is very bright and has styaed on the honor roll. I have had to come to school on numerous occassions because of kids choking him, badly scratching his face, bullying, etc. Most times it was the same kid, with the school doing nothing to correct the actions of the offender. We have been fortunate in that all of my son's teachers have been dedicated and caring. The pta is a farce b/c meetings take place at 8:30 am which is for working parents to attend. Therefore a selected(by the principal) few get to make the decisions for the majority. Thank god my son has been accepted to a great school for septenber and we will no longer have to deal with such an incompetent administration in an woefully under resourced school.”

“This school has the potential to be a leading academic school in our district as well as in the Bronx. I believe if we had more student/Teacher recognition by the Chancellor or one of his aides, more people/parents would seriously get involved.Of course, there are much needed upgrades; ie.- brighter lights, more classrooms & a genuine Library for this old school building. We were #5 in our district and there's always room for improvement. We also have many excellent and dedicated teachers and staff (whom deserve recognition, as well). They tirelessly work with a myriad of students from different backgrounds whom need many resources to continue to thrive, strive,& continue working hard to achieve success in their goals of passing to each grade. I pray this K-5th Grade school gets much needed resorces it deserves for enriching these inner-city kids' lives whole-heartedly.”
