14-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Queens Home
Yesterday afternoon, a 14-year-old girl was discovered by her father in their Cambria Heights home in Queens. Sabrina Matthews was "naked from the waist down, with blood gushing from a wound to her throat," in her bedroom, according to the Daily News . The paramedics were unable to revive her. According to the NY Post , police are investigating whether 14-year-old Sabrina Matthews "may have been killed by a boyfriend she recently met over the Internet." Funeral For NY Bus Driver Stabbed To Death On Duty
Hundreds of transit workers united in grief Monday to honor and say goodbye to their friend and colleague, Edwin Thomas, the city bus driver stabbed to death while on the job. With mournful strains usually heard at funerals for police officers or firefighters, today they were for a man who drove a bus. Mourners offered tearful goodbyes to Edwin Thomas. More
