For example: I want to try bungee jumping and skydiving sometime! Also, kinda-sorta-but-not-really in the same vein...I'm an official member of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club! We yell and scream, throw tennis balls around, and freeze our asses off in the frigid water....it's fucking awesome! We started up in November and the season's been awesome so far. Ever see the TV show Cake Boss on TLC? Well, THE Cake Boss (Buddy) is making a cake for us, swimming with the Club, and presenting it to the us on Feb 7th!! I might be on TV!

I love singing along with my music in the car like a madman, but if there are lots of people around or other people in the car, i tend to keep my voice a bit lower so i don't look like a COMPLETE nutjob. (hehe, little do they know...)

Music is a huge part of my personal style, but my style doesn't depend on the music. I went to an R.E.M. concert a while back, but I was more excited when i found out that Modest Mouse and The National were opening for them. I went to see Kings of Leon in Concert @ the IZOD Center back in September and it was excellent!! I went to see The Mars Volta a few months ago on a Thursday, and it was such a good show that i skipped my Saturday night plans to take a trip down to Philly to see them again! Then i got back from the concert and STILL got out to meet my friends that i had the initial plans with! It was a good night.

I'm a big fan of going waterskiing and tubing behind my parents' boat. I'm thinking of planning a river rafting trip for next summer, because it's been a few years since my friends and I have gotten to do that. A few friends and I go hiking, camping, and indoor rock climbing together in all seasons as often we can all coordinate our schedules. Half the time, while we're hiking, we're chasing my friend's dog Dale through the bushes while he chases deer and chipmunks... Yeah, after that we put him back on the leash for a while.

I went on a solo trip to Europe last February for 10 days...and visited 3 cities in 3 countries! I got to Dublin, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam.... I totally wanna live in Edinburgh...such an amazing city. It was a short amount of time to cram all the travel in... but it was totally worth the running here and there to see everything!

I'm a big Karaoke fan....i'm lucky enough to have landed a job working as a karaoke host a few times a month. Even if i'm not hosting, i typically go out to bars to sing at least once or twice a week. Don't knock it unless you have the guts to try it! It's a blast!

I'm a long-time geek, and glad for it. I still love Star Wars, Tolkien, and They Might Be Giants, but those types of things don't have as much of an influence on my life as they used to. Even so, i still geek out with my friends for horror movie nights or evenings of Magic:The Gathering... good times!

I'm easily amused by cats, movies, baseball and hockey. Some of my weird quirks include being jumpy even after watching the same horror / suspense flick even a dozen times. I also have a nervous reaction to most graphic violence or gore in movies. It usually makes my mouth shoot with salt. -- Something you will probably love to tease me about, and don't believe me, I love every minute of it.

I have a huge music collection, including mostly punk and rock music. Also, I have quite the large collection of Japanese rock music. Queens of the Stone Age, Bad Religion, Against Me!, Social Distorton, Dir en grey, X-Japan and Luna Sea are some of my al-time favorite bands.

I have all three video game consoles, but ironically play very few video games, nowadays. The PS3, I bought solely for Final Fantasy XIII; and it'll probably collect dust till it comes out.

I used to be utterly obsessed with social networking sites, like Digg, Facebook, and Twitter. Well, I still am addicted to Twitter. When my computer was still working, I also had a strong penchant for webisodes like "The Guild," and podcasts like the "Totally Rad Show," "Tekzilla," and "GeekBrief TV."

I don't entirely identify with my sex, at least not in terms of the standards of my culture. I used to say that I don't identify with a particular gender; lately I've been identifying as "differently male", but i tend to cycle through these things. If you need a noun to describe me, "pirate" will do.

I'm a pansexual geek. My preferred relationship type is polyamorous, though i'm open to other relationship types. I am in a polyfidelitous/open relationship with a wonderful young woman (<<zmouse>>); this means that I'm free to see other people and do what I want with them, but plans with her take priority over anything else. This does not mean we're looking for threesomes, we just want to be safe and honest with each other. It also means that I won't ditch her because of someone else, so don't get dumb ideas.

I've been diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, a high-functioning autistic spectrum disorder. Friends and acquaintances who are familiar with this have variously told me that it either explains a lot about my personality, or that they had no idea. I am easily pissed off by people seeking a "cure" for what i consider my natural and healthy brain function (different is not wrong).

I'm vegan and lactose-intolerant; but as most of my friends know, that doesn't mean you can assume anything about me. I recognize that some people can't support themselves on such a diet, but i'm strongly against cruelty to animals under any circumstances. I think bottlenose dolphins and red foxes are kind of jerks, though.

I was born into an agnostic Jewish family, I lean towards Discordianism and Chaos Magick, with a strong inclination towards practices that might be described as shamanic or animist; i like the idea of chaos as a beneficial force. I'm a legally ordained minister and can perform your crazy marriage ceremony for you :D

I do random things like suddenly realize the complexity of what goes into toenails growing, despite their uselessness; or find out what a baby echidna is called (it's a 'puggle'). Despite this, I've never done any drugs, and am very allergic to pot >.>

Doesn't dress well enough to qualify as a hipster, but to be honest I mostly work and so I know somewhere I have respectable clothes that aren't torn, painted on, caked in cement, plastic, plaster or oil stained; I just rarely touch them.
